NORTH CAROLINA COAST

I EAT A LITTLE SALT WATER SOAKED CROW

I grew up diving the upper North Carolina Coast either driving down on a daily basis from Virginia Beach or staying with my Grandfather on Hatteras and had a lot of fun spearfishing on the wrecks. These adventures are found on two of my pages.

One is my self serving history.

The other is my page on freediving and spearfishing.

Toward the end of the "me" page I explain why I do not dive the coast routinly. It is a matter of cost effectiveness in terms of my time and my marriage. While I still have those opinions, I broke the rule twice in the last couple of years and did have one of my best dives ever in the fall of '02 on the North Carolina Coast.

I dove with Olympus Dive Shop in Morehead, North Carolina. While it took two trips down to accomplish the dives and because of depth, there was little bottom time, the dives were great. The dive shop is an excellent operation.
